Enya Tan brings a strong foundation in data science, analytical problem-solving, and data quality to her role as a Senior Data Analyst at M.S. Hall + Associates. Since joining the firm in January 2024, she has developed expertise in collecting, transforming, validating, and analyzing complex healthcare data from electronic health records, claims, policies, and financial systems. Her ability to work across diverse data sources supports a wide range of healthcare reimbursement projects, including Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, Medicare Bad Debts and audits, Medicare S-10 audits, Medicaid DSH audits, HCRA audits, and Public Goods Surcharge reporting.
A significant part of Enya’s work involves understanding how information moves between systems, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring data is accurate, complete, and reliable. Through database analysis, data validation, and investigating unexpected variances, she helps turn complex information into dependable reporting that supports reimbursement processes. Enya also works closely with colleagues across teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions. Beyond the technical challenges, she especially appreciates the supportive people at M.S. Hall + Associates and the willingness of her teammates to share knowledge and help one another succeed.
Enya earned her Master of Science in Data Science from Vanderbilt University, providing an academic foundation for her work in data transformation, quality assurance, and analysis. She continues to build upon that knowledge through hands-on experience with healthcare data systems and reimbursement reporting, combining technical understanding with an appreciation for the importance of accurate information.
Outside of work, Enya enjoys pop music, animation, gaming, and traveling. She especially loves planning trips and exploring new places. A fun fact about Enya is that her English and Chinese names are the same.
